GenCyber Teacher Camp: June 13-17, 2022

GenCyber is a nationwide program funded by the NSA and the National Science Foundation.

The GenCyber program provides summer cybersecurity camp experiences for students and teachers at the K-12 level. The goals of the program are to:

• increase interest in cybersecurity careers and diversity in the cybersecurity workforce of the nation; 
• help all students understand correct and safe online behavior and how they can be good digital citizens;
• improve teaching methods for delivery of cybersecurity content in K-12 curricula.

西敏寺's GenCyber Teacher Program

The 2022 GenCyber Teacher Program at 西敏寺 Schools of Augusta is a full year of workshop opportunities designed to help middle grades teachers develop the skills they will need to raise up the next generation of cyber stars! Through a series of engaging, hands-on activities, the selected teachers will learn how to integrate the basics of cybersecurity, algorithmic thinking, and computational problem solving seamlessly into their curriculum.
